ARLINGTON, Texas — According to 2819 Church, approximately 80,000 people gathered at AT&T Stadium on Saturday, October 10, for 2819 ACCESS, a large-scale Christian gathering centered on prayer, worship and a call for spiritual revival.
Good News Now has not independently verified the attendance count. The church had previously said all 80,000 free tickets for the gathering were claimed.
A Powerful Hour of Prayer
Organized by Atlanta-based 2819 Church and led by Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell, ACCESS was promoted as “That Powerful Hour of Prayer.” The gathering brought believers together to proclaim the hope of the Cross, call people to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ and pray for families, cities, the nation and the world.
Organizers invited participants to unite in the prayer, “Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus!” Worship also played a prominent role as the crowd gathered around a shared focus on Christ.

A Call to Get Serious About Christ and Contend for the Faith
Near the conclusion of the gathering, Mitchell delivered a direct message calling believers to get serious about Jesus Christ and contend for the faith.
In the portion obtained by Good News Now, Mitchell urged those listening not to treat their faith casually, but to live with sincere commitment to Christ and stand firmly for what they believe. His message formed part of the gathering’s broader emphasis on repentance, prayer and faithfully representing Christ.
A Call for Revival
For organizers, ACCESS was intended to be more than a large public gathering. Its central message encouraged Christians to seek God, pray for their communities and pursue spiritual renewal.
The gathering also reached people beyond the stadium as organizers invited believers elsewhere to join the hour of prayer.
